Are you ready to create beautiful brush lettering pieces like the ones you’ve admired on Instagram?
Yep, you can do it! This class will teach students how to use those fancy brush pens to turn several
basic strokes into beautiful script and block hand lettering. Students will also learn how to blend colors
to create the beautiful ombré effect that brush pens are known for. You’ll leave the class with tools and
a course packet to continue your brush lettering practice at home, as well as ideas for projects that you
can complete with your new skills!
MATERIALS FEE DUE BEFORE CLASS
$25 (students may reimburse Carrie w/cash, check, or Venmo on class day.

Our workshops are all beginner level and we welcome anyone wanting to learn a creative skill! We love having a fun experience at all our classes, so feel free to BYO snacks and/or libations of your choice 🙂
Carrie Keesling-Getz operates Ricciolina*, a calligraphy and hand-lettering studio in Atlanta. Ricciolina* provides lettering for weddings and special events as well as chalk lettering for local businesses.
Carrie first came to lettering after emerging from an exhausting three years in law school. Desperate for a creative outlet, she enrolled in a few calligraphy classes and instantly was hooked. A graduate of Smith College, Carrie enjoys creating, reading, and volunteering with rescue dogs at Best Friends Atlanta. She lives in the Ormewood Park neighborhood of Atlanta with her husband and four crazy dogs.

Class Cancellation Policy
Sometimes our classes won’t fill their minimum and we will need to cancel. Most likely it could be the day before, and we will contact you as soon as possible. A full refund will be applied if the studio has to cancel a class.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Class fees are non-refundable. There is a 7 day cancellation policy for this event. If you cancel within 7 days before the class, you will forfeit your fee. If you alert us 7 days or more before your scheduled class, we will be glad to give credit for a future class. This credit must be used within 60 days of the cancellation date to prevent loss of the registration fee.
Discounted Class Policy
Class registrations during the 40% off sale are final. No credits or transfers, no exceptions. If for some reason you are unable to attend, you are allowed to transfer your registration to another person for your original registered class date, only. Discount does not apply to the materials fee. Please reimburse instructor at start of class.
