INSTRUCTOR: Lily Smith
Do you love fun, delicate necklaces?  Want to learn a new technique to add color to your jewelry?  Join us for this two hour workshop to learn the basics of torch fired enameling.  Learn how to properly clean your metal, correctly fire enamel using a butane torch, and assemble a complete necklace with the enamel color(s) of your choice!

MATERIALS FEE DUE BEFORE CLASS
$15 (students may reimburse Lily w/cash or check at start of class)

What You Get:
1 necklace chain with clasp, ½” copper pendant blanks, jump rings, assorted enamel colors

Our workshops are all beginner level and we welcome anyone wanting to learn a creative skill! We love having a fun experience at all our classes, so feel free to BYO snacks and/or libations of your choice 🙂


About Lily
Lily Smith is a craft artist who works with metal, fibers and paper to create functional work for both the body and the home.

She earned her MFA from the University of Georgia in 2015 and her BFA in Craft and Materials Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012.  She loves passing on her knowledge to other makers, and is currently teaching weaving classes in Atlanta.

Lily lives in Atlanta, GA with her boyfriend, cat, and many house plants and enjoys baking, crocheting and experimenting with fermentation in her free time.

Class Cancellation Policy
Sometimes our classes won’t fill their minimum and we will need to cancel. Most likely it could be the day before, and we will contact you as soon as possible. A full refund will be applied if the studio has to cancel a class.

What happens if I need to cancel?
Class fees are non-refundable. There is a 72 hour (3 day) cancellation policy. If you cancel within 72 hours before the class, you will forfeit your fee. If you alert us 72 hours or more before your scheduled class, we will be glad to give credit for a future class. This credit must be used within 60 days of the cancellation date to prevent loss of the registration fee.

Discounted Class Policy
Class registrations during the 40% off sale are final. No credits or transfers, no exceptions. If for some reason you are unable to attend, you are allowed to transfer your registration to another person for your original registered class date, only. Discount does not apply to the materials fee. Please reimburse instructor at start of class.
