Elizabeth Lang started her company Between the Evergreens, with the intention of bringing the peace and inspiration of nature into the spaces where we spend the most time: our offices, homes, and wherever we dwell most often.
She was originally inspired by evergreens after a visit to the Pacific Northwest. The quirky giant Douglas Firs in Oregon and the majestic misty Redwood Forest in Northern California were found to be particularly awe-inspiring. Upon coming home to Atlanta, she realized her love for trees was really just beginning. Elizabeth began to learn more about the trees native to the Southeast and the ones seen most commonly in Atlanta’s urban neighborhoods.
She named her company after the quote by John Muir, “Between every two pine trees there is a door leading to a new way of life.” Elizabeth hopes others find beauty in her trees and are inspired to integrate nature into their everyday lives.
