A veritable renaissance woman, Corrie Ladd is equally handy with a pen as she is with, well, her hands. Canvas, paper, rope, clay, wood, glass, metal—you name it, she’s worked with it. Never one to shy away from a new challenge, Corrie’s artistic explorations eventually led her to the world of jewelry design and print making. From her home studio in Pine Lake, Georgia, she carefully hand sculpts each piece of jewelry from precious metal clay, and uses hand-carved stamps to print on cotton textiles. The result? Clean, modern, organic work that honors the “hand” in handmade.
