A veritable renaissance woman, Corrie Ladd is equally handy with a pen as she is with, well, her hands. Canvas, paper, rope, clay, wood, glass, metal—you name it, she’s worked with it. Never one to shy away from a new challenge, Corrie’s artistic explorations eventually led her to the world of jewelry making. From her home studio in Decatur, Georgia, she carefully hand sculpts each piece from precious metal clay infused with recycled silver before tossing them in the kiln and inlaying with glass enamel. The results? Clean, colorful earrings and necklaces with the kind of natural character that can only come from a handmade touch.
