David Roe spent the first 30 years of his life in London. Tired of the rain and cold, he decided to move somewhere warm. After meeting some people from the south, Atlanta became his home.

About 7 years ago,  he was in a store and saw a line of drink coasters that had pictures of famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal and the Pyramids. David wondered if people are buying them, then why not highlight images of Atlanta? The Eiffel Tower became the Fox, The Varsity and Turner Field.
He has catalogued 150 images that grace his tumbled marble coasters of Atlanta bars, restaurants and southern landmarks.
