Ellie Thaxton’s “crafts for a cause” venture started when she was just sixteen years old. Gripped by the human suffering in East Africa, she began sewing Africa patches on shirts and selling them in the community. Her high school club raised thousands of dollars to support a school in Uganda! Ten years later she found herself ministering to refugees in Clarkston, GA, and uses her entrepreneurial and artistic talents to help support the ministry.

Currently, she creates leather travelers notebooks for avid journalers and funky, leather earrings.
