A native of Nyack, New York, Emma currently resides in Birmingham, AL where she graduated from Birmingham Southern College with a BFA in sculpture.
The industrial surroundings of large cities, such as Atlanta, have inspired the current aesthetic of her jewelry. She attempts to capture the rustic, industrial style by incorporating small mechanical pieces and gears in every creation. Emma achieves this style by deconstructing old, vintage watches and floating gears, tiny cast pieces, and found objects in resin. The final assembled pendants, earrings and bracelets are made up of complex layers designed inside the empty watch casings.
