With a love for all things old and vintage, Rachel hunts thrift stores to find discarded cashmere and wool sweaters to create one-of-a-kind creations. She has a laid back teaching style, encouraging students to explore their machine and get the basics down.
Rachel leads students in making their own patterns, cutting material, sewing and finishing the product. She’s a felter, and taps in to her sewing talents to create unique pieces adorned by vintage items like old buttons and keys. From her cashmere neck wraps and fingerless gloves to zippered pouches and bags, each piece is lovingly crafted and unique.
