Jenn Purdy Art

Jenn Purdy is an Avondale Estates based artist known locally for her watercolors and urban sketching. Growing up in New Jersey with a mother who paints watercolor and a “crafty” grandmother, she has always been a maker and artist at heart even though her painting habit emerged much later. Inspired by a Canadian artist, Jenn hand-printed the iconic Avondale Estates sewer cover to share this historic piece of the city. More local drain cover printing followed with the WATER cover (near the Avondale pool) and the STORM cover (on the PATH in Clarkston). A fun series was born to share with neighbors and to celebrate the 2026 Centennial of Avondale Estates.
