    7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Instructor: Jenny Bell
Have you ever been curious about art resin? Do you love the art of mixed media collage? If you are intrigued with the process of combining two art forms, then this workshop is for you!
Jenny will take you through the process step-by-step by first creating a mixed media composition using acrylic paint and collage. Students are encouraged to bring their own photos, cards, letters or other ephemera to create a personal work of art. After having fun with part one of the project-wait for it-there’s the finale! You’ll finish your work of art by mixing and pouring resin over top of the painting. Using ArtResin, a non-toxic art material, (provided by Jenny) will add shine and enhance the brilliancy to the underlying artwork! You will absolutely LOVE the effects of the crystal clear layer that add dimension, vibrancy and offer fascinating effects.
***Please bring any personal images you would like to use in your art. Do not bring original photographs, but rather inkjet. laser or color copies. Jenny will supplement with additional ephemera, but the artwork will be a reflection of YOU.***

Materials fee: $15
Please pay  instructor at the beginning of class. Cash or check written out to Jenny Bell.
We ask you arrive 10-15 minutes early to make time to pay the instructor and get settled in so you have the full amount of time for creating!

About Jenny Bell
Jenny Bell is a photographer, artist and certified teacher. She teaches regular drawing, photography, collage and resin classes at Little Tree Art Studios and other venues. She also shoots commercial, architectural, portraits and fine art photography. Her fine art work is a combination of both figurative images and the natural world. Drawing from both ancient mythology, art history and modern culture, the personal narrative in her work is often an investigation of women’s issues and psychological landscapes.  Her original photos are uniquely presented– often mounted on hand-painted wood panels covered in resin with a variety of inks or powdered pigments. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University School of Fine Arts and holds a Master’s Degree in Education. Jenny currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and three sons.
