Have you tried hand-lettering before? It doesn’t matter if you’re brand new to the game or have some experience, you can perfect your skills and learn new techniques! This class will teach students how to use those fancy brush markers to turn several basic strokes into beautiful brush lettering. Students will also learn faux hand-lettering using an artist’s pen. You’ll leave the class with tools and a course workbook to continue your hand-lettering practice at home!
MATERIALS FEE DUE BEFORE CLASS
$15 (students may reimburse Brooke w/cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal on class day).
What You Get:
One brush marker and one artist pen
Our workshops are all beginner level and we welcome anyone wanting to learn a creative skill! We love having a fun experience at all our classes, so feel free to BYO snacks and/or libations of your choice 🙂
Brooke Feltman runs Enough Said Design, a small hand-lettering business based in Atlanta. Enough Said produces custom-made hand-lettered signs and cards for the home, weddings and special events, as well as custom watercolor house paintings.
Brooke first started lettering eight years ago after creating a poster of a Shakespeare quote for extra credit in her high school English class. She made some signs here and there throughout high school and college. After she graduated from the University of Florida with an Architecture degree, she dedicated more time to Enough Said and began to participate in craft markets. Brooke was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She recently moved to Atlanta to begin her career in Construction Management, and enjoys hand-lettering, listening to live music, and exploring in her free time.
