Penny Treese & Kim McGill Stuart
Painting with wax and fire is a thrilling experience that will allow artists to delve into a new realm of painting or enhance their current practice. Learn techniques such as scraping, accretion, layering, oil paint washes and more to create vibrant landscapes or abstract expressions; the effects achieved depend on how artists “mold” the piece.
Penny Treese and Kim McGill Stuart are well-known local artists and instructors, experienced in helping students build a unique narrative with textures that compliment their voice. No experience necessary; beginners are welcome and intermediate students will learn advanced techniques.
