Instructor: Michael Chechopoulos
Ages 7-12
Using found natural materials, recyclables, and art making supplies, create a natural living puppet!
Materials such as pine cones, acorns, nuts, branches, avocado seeds, mango seeds, peach seeds, egg shells, etc. will be incorporated. We’ll also use recycled wire hangers, wine bottle corks, plastic caps just to name a few! Embellish with paint and other decorative elements to create your own unique living puppet.
Other aspects of puppetry arts  will be discussed such as script writing, stage building, props making, and manipulation of puppets.
Materials Fee: $10, please bring cash for instructor.  
About Michael Chechopoulos
Michael is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and former member of Actors Equity. He has a BA degree in speech and theater from Goodman Theater in Chicago. He has been building and performing with puppets for 50 years.
In New York City, he taught puppet design at Parsons School of Design. In Atlanta, he exhibited and performed at the Woodruff Arts Center and Callanwolde Art Center.
