Instructor: Molly Yates of Backyard Swag
Learn the basics of metal stamping, including learning about metal gauges, texturizing your jewelry blanks to create a hammered effect, and more. Stamp a word, saying or quote on an aluminum bracelet blank, and then shape it into a cuff. Make a pendant with a stamped letter or initials or any other snarky or cute word. Finally, learn to use pliers and jump rings to assemble a complete, finished necklace. By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with unique, beautiful new pieces to call your own!

We’ll provide all tools and metal you need. Be sure to bring your favorite sayings and messages with you to stamp the class away.

About Molly Yates
Molly Yates was raised on sweet tea and sunshine in the small town of Camden, South Carolina. She attended Clemson University where she began studying fine art, but later switched to marketing.

After graduation, Molly moved to Atlanta and landed her first job working as a contractor for Coca-Cola in 2002. On a whim, eleven years and three jobs later, she decided to take a metal stamping class and instantly fell in love with the craft. When losing her job a month later, she decided to jump in head first as a jewelry artist.

Class Cancellation Policy
Sometimes our classes won’t fill their minimum and we will need to cancel. Most likely it could be the day before, and we will contact you as soon as possible. A full refund will be applied if the studio has to cancel a class.

What happens if I need to cancel?
Class fees are non-refundable. There is a 72 hour (3 day) cancellation policy. If you cancel within 72 hours before the class, you will forfeit your fee. If you alert us 72 hours or more before your scheduled class, we will be glad to give credit for a future class. This credit must be used within 60 days of the cancellation date to prevent loss of the registration fee.
