Red Cosmos in Watercolor

Spend a creative evening painting vibrant red cosmos flowers in watercolor during this welcoming mini workshop designed for all experience levels. Students will learn watercolor techniques for capturing glowing petals, learn brush skills, and clean botanical detail while creating a realistic floral painting set against a crisp white background.

Cosmos flowers are often associated with beauty, harmony, and joyful expression. Their delicate movement and vivid color make them the perfect subject for exploring both softness and confidence in watercolor painting. This workshop focuses on building foundational watercolor skills while encouraging students to experiment, be curious, and enjoy the process of painting flowers.

Together, we will complete one finished floral painting during class, and students will also receive one to two additional flower drawings to take home for continued practice and creative play.

Bring your own watercolor supplies, or reserve a materials kit for an additional $15.

Optional Materials Fee: $15
Pay Jessica at the start of class. Includes 100% cotton paper and access to Jessica’s collection of quality watercolor paints, palettes, brushes, pencils, erasers, and more.  (After signing up, please email Jessica to reserve a kit.)

Cancellation Policy
Workshop registrations are non-refundable and considered final sale.

If Garage Door Studio or the instructor must cancel a workshop for any reason, participants will receive a full refund.

If you are unable to attend and provide at least 7 days notice, we will issue a studio credit that may be applied toward another full-price workshop. Credits must be used within 30 days of the issue date or they will expire.

Cancellations made 3 days or less before the workshop date are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer due to the limited class size and advance preparation required.
