Celebrate the beauty of the season by creating your own handcrafted Scandinavian-inspired woven stars. These timeless decorations bring a touch of Nordic charm to holiday décor and look beautiful displayed in windows, hung on walls, incorporated into seasonal garlands, or used as a unique tree topper.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn the techniques for weaving elegant stars from flat rattan reed while exploring color, pattern, and form. Choose from both natural and hand-dyed reed to create stars that reflect your personal style, whether you prefer a classic, rustic look or a more colorful contemporary design.
By the end of class, each participant will complete one to two woven stars in varying sizes and leave with the skills and confidence to continue creating more at home.
No basket weaving experience is necessary. Beginners are warmly welcome.
Materials Fee: $50
Includes all flat natural and dyed rattan reed needed to complete your projects.
Duration: 3 hours
Gather with fellow makers for a relaxing afternoon of weaving, creativity, and seasonal inspiration, and leave with beautiful handmade stars ready to brighten your home throughout the winter months. ✨⭐️
