Black Eyed Susans in Watercolor

Join us for an evening of painting cheerful Black Eyed Susans in watercolor during this welcoming watercolor workshop designed for all experience levels, including complete beginners. Students will learn approachable watercolor techniques for creating luminous petals, vibrant color, and realistic floral details while painting a bright flower on a clean white background.

Known for symbolizing encouragement, resilience, and warmth, Black Eyed Susans capture the joyful energy of late summer in bloom. This class is designed to help students build confidence with watercolor while enjoying the creative process in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Together, we will complete one finished floral painting during class, and students will also receive one to two additional flower drawings to take home and continue practicing after the workshop.

Bring your own watercolor supplies, or reserve a materials kit for an additional $15.

Optional Materials Fee: $15
Pay Jessica at the start of class. Includes 100% cotton paper and access to Jessica’s collection of quality watercolor paints, palettes, brushes, pencils, erasers, and more.  (After signing up, please email Jessica to reserve a kit.)

Cancellation Policy
Workshop registrations are non-refundable and considered final sale.

If Garage Door Studio or the instructor must cancel a workshop for any reason, participants will receive a full refund.

If you are unable to attend and provide at least 7 days notice, we will issue a studio credit that may be applied toward another full-price workshop. Credits must be used within 30 days of the issue date or they will expire.

Cancellations made 3 days or less before the workshop date are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer due to the limited class size and advance preparation required.
