Original - You'll always stay young

Painted in luminous shades of magenta and violet, a wolf emerges from an ethereal landscape, surrounded by delicate butterflies accented with gold leaf. This deeply personal piece began years ago as a portrait of my daughter. As she grew and transformed, so did the painting. Rather than creating a new work, I chose to paint over the original portrait, allowing its history to remain beneath the surface as part of the story.

The wolf serves as her spirit animal, embodying intuition, resilience, independence, and inner strength. The butterflies symbolize growth, change, and becoming, while the layers of paint echo the many versions of ourselves we leave behind as we move through life. Both a tribute and a transformation, this painting reflects the beauty of evolving into who we are meant to be.
